Kindle Fire is powered by Google Android operating system, supports Wi-Fi connectivity, and runs the Amazon's own cloud-accelerated web browser (split browser architecture), the Amazon Silk. It can stream, purchase or rent over a 100,000 movies and favorite TV shows, download apps from Amazon's own app store, play games/songs, read bestseller books, newspapers, magazines as well as e-mail documents. Like other Kindle e-readers, Fire uses Amazon's Whispersync technology to automatically sync library, bookmarks, notes, highlights even streaming a video.

Kindle Fire is now available for pre-order and is expected to hit the Amazon store on November 15.

The basic model starts at $79 price point (a lot cheaper for an amazing device) and is now available on Amazon store. It has ergonomic design and a precise 5-way controller, has dimensions of 6.5" x 4.5" x 0.34", weighs 5.98 ounces less than its predecessor and fits in a pocket. The new Kindle features a 6-inch advance E Ink Pearl display (reads like real paper and with no glare), with Wi-Fi connectivity (surf the web through Kindle's experimental browser), 2GB internal storage along with free cloud storage, and a month battery life.

Moreover, the all-new Kindle Touch 3G, has a sleek design, dimensions of 6.8" x 4.7" x 0.40" and weighs less than 8 ounces. It also features the most-advanced display same with the Kindle, 6-inch touch screen, 4GB on-device storage (for 3000 e-books) also with free cloud storage for Amazon content, 2 months battery life, comes with Wi-Fi and free 3G support, priced at $149 and $99 respectively for the Kindle Touch (wireless-only version). Both Kindle Touch models will be shipped by Amazon on November 21.
