“We think Swift is the next big programming language, the one that we will all be doing application and system programming on for 20 years to come. We think it should be everywhere and used by everyone.” Craig Federighisaid during the WWDC 2015.
While it’s a huge move for the Cupertino giant, the programming language is also getting some revamps with Swift 2 which will support optimization technology, option sets improvement, protocol extensions, faster debug mode and runtime, even a much efficient compiler which only requires shorter time to pile up and more upgrades.
