Huawei, the Chinese smartphone giant, takes a new step to compete in the global market with its newest smartphone flagship the — P8.

Huawei P8 is a sleekly elegant built smartphone with great specifications at a reasonable price. While it’s quite a reminiscent of the iPhone 6 in terms of the device’s flat design, it has a solid, aluminum unibody case with a bit more squared edges plus buttons and ports as Apple’s. The P8 measures 144.9mm x 72.1mm x 6.4mm and weighs only 144grams.
The P8, classified as a premium Android mobile device, sports a 5.2-inch full HD display at 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, a stunning 13-megapixel rear camera paired with an 8-megapixel front facing selfie camera, 2GHz/1.5GHz octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM and a 16GB internal storage that can be extend through microSD cards.

Besides the gorgeous camera that doesn’t stick out at the phone’s back which can snap a more realistic photos than the iPhone 6, the Huawei P8 also has a 2,680mAh battery not bad to power the smartphone for at least a day for a regular use. It runs the latest version of Google’s advanced mobile OS, the Android 5.0 Lollipop with a custom Emotion User Interface (EMUI) software.
The Huawei P8 is a good Android smartphone with specifications beyond compare, a premium feel and a bit similar design as the iPhone 6. It is available in Champagne Silver, Gold, Grey and Black at a starting price of $530.
