LG announced that it will be launching the Minibeam Nano, the Korean company’s smallest and lightest micro LED projector to date.
Wirelessly, the Minibeam Nano can connect directly to your smartphone to project documents, stream videos and movies. With dimensions of 10cm x 10cm x 4cm, the led projector sports an HDMI input and comes with a USB port handy for flash drives.
While the device is about the size of a wallet, it can project a media of up to 100 inches diagonally at a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, not bad for a tiny projector. Minibeam Nano can lasts up to 2 hours of use on a single charge, on the other hand, its LED lamp will last about 30,000 hours.
The Minibeam Nano micro projector will be available very soon this June in the United States, Europe, Africa and Asia. As of the price, LG don’t have a word yet.
