Samsung Display recently showed the tech community its first transparent and mirrored OLED display ready for commercial use at the Hong Kong Convention Centre exhibit.
The new technology prowess which uses a see-through OLED panel and powered by 3D cameras can be shared through an augmented reality, which is now a risingtech trend. The latest Samsung clear OLED display panels, is all about making things more visually engaging. For example, a consumer can try or model clothes and accessories first before purchasing them, all with the assistance of the augmented reality technology, Intel Real Sense, that uses advanced 3D cameras, gesture and voice command as well as a library of automated perceptions.
In the meantime, the Samsung Display is mainly for commercial use but soon the option of using the panels for home technology is also visualized.
